咱回顾一下本轮系列赛，孟子凯在G1跟北京队比赛的时候，就已经引起争议了。当时翟晓川在抢篮板，孟子凯主动撞人家翟晓川的肘部，完了还特别夸张地倒在地上。裁判看了录像之后，反而判翟晓川违体犯规。在关键的G4这场生死战里，他在第三节对曾凡博的战术犯规，被裁判升级成了违体犯规，再加上之前跟陈盈骏起冲突吃到的技术犯规，最后就导致他被赶出去了。
有个事儿得注意一下，这两次有争议的判罚，就隔了3场比赛。技术台那边有消息说，裁判组在赛后总结的时候，专门讨论了这个球员在系列赛里的行为，觉得他有些动作，已经超过正常篮球对抗的范围了。虽然这场比赛他在11分钟里头，投篮4次进了2个，得了8分，但是两次没必要的犯规，直接就把比赛的走向给改变了，搞得北控在关键时候，没了一个重要的轮换球员。
